Randomness

Whew! What a week! It has really flown by fast. It has been pretty uneventful, besides the minor car accident that happened last Friday evening. :( It was the homecoming football game for Jon's high school that he teaches at and he really wanted to take Lizzie to it. (I really wanted to go too, but I figured that a screaming baby would ruin everyone else's fun). They never made it to the game, however, because another vehicle hit our van while trying to switch lanes. Thankfully, no one was injured (just shook up a bit). Our van, however, was pretty banged up and has been in the shop since Monday and will be there until the 23rd of the month. It's a good thing that we have insurance! We don't exactly have the $5,000 that it is costing to fix it all.

We had Stake Conference last weekend and I must admit that it was probably the best Stake Conference that I have ever been too, particularly the adult session. We had to take our kids to the adult session, which put a damper on it, but the talks were so amazing that I was still able to feel the spirit and get something out of each talk. Our Stake President visited each ward about a month ago and told everyone in the Stake to prepare a 10-minute talk for Stake Conference and you wouldn't find out until the meeting whether or not you were chosen to speak. I was a little afraid, but not really because I didn't think that the Stake President would call on a nursing mother, which he didn't. :) Anyway, all of the talks were really amazing, considering that no one even knew for sure if they would be called on to speak. I was particularly touched by this one sister who spoke about motherhood. She has ELEVEN children!!! Holy Cow -- and she doesn't even know if she's done yet. What a woman!

Well, as I mentioned earlier, this was a pretty uneventful week. Although, I do have a few pictures to share...

Bryce, staring at his Daddy. So cute.

Lizzie, in her Halloween Costume. I think that she makes the perfect Snow White!

Bryce is getting chunkier...I love it!

These two boys like taking naps together...

Handsome, and WIDE AWAKE at night when all I want is for him to go to sleep. Sound familiar?
