I really love my life! I am blessed beyond what I deserve. Things have been going great the past few weeks. I love the fall season, and although it doesn't really LOOK like fall here (the leaves seem to stay the same color all year long), the temperature has cooled down a bit and it has been really nice. I have so many long-sleeved shirts that I rarely get to wear --I jump at any opportunity to wear them, even if the temperature only drops to the low 80's.
Nothing really exciting has happened. It's been fun because Elizabeth finally started walking at 13 1/2 months! :) I was expecting her to start walking at about that time, seeming that she didn't start crawling until about 9 months. I wonder if any of my kids are going to beat my record...I didn't start walking until I was 16 months!
Anyway, here are just a few pictures of the random happenings in our house...
Here's Lizzie, just being Lizzie.

Here's Lizzie, just being Lizzie.
She likes dancing to the music that this toy plays.
She loves playing on the stairs...and it scares me to pieces.
She LOVES, LOVES, LOVES rubber duckies!!! She could play with them all day and she is never happier than when she is looking at one. She points to the duckies in all of her books and she gets so excited to see them! They are her friends...or something. She even has a stuffed ducky that she sleeps with. In the morning, she talks to it until I come and get her out of her crib. It's really cute!
Recently, Lizzie has really loved phones. She always grabs her toy phones (or real phones) and says, "hewo?" and then she gives the phone to me so that I can say "hello" too.
For General Conference, Jon brought home his projector from work and we moved our furniture around a bit so that we could watch conference on a big screen. It was really neat!! It worked out great until the Sunday afternoon session when we started having internet problems and we couldn't get it to work until almost half-way through the session.
Lizzie has also recently started to enjoy wearing Jon's hat's. It's really funny! :)
Lizzie is going through this phase where she loves to put these bunny ears on her head. She is always bringing them to me to help her put them on her head. It's almost like she's a different person with them on...
Yeah, she's still getting really messy at meal times and I am still having a difficult time with it. AHHHH!!! It wouldn't be so bad if she didn't rub it all over her hair and in her eyes...
When I don't do what she wants me to do (like give her my undivided attention AT ALL TIMES), then she complains and looks at me like this...
You can't really tell what she's sucking on in this picture, but it's a cardboard tongue. She has this "Reverent Book" and there is a page talking about tithing with a picture of a girl licking a tithing envelope. The cardboard tongue is SUPPOSED to stay in the book and simply be moved back and forth to represent licking the envelope. But Lizzie was obsessed with that page for some reason and she eventually tore out the tongue and started carrying it around with her and sucking on it. It has pretty much disintegrated by now...it's time for me to give it a new home in the trash can.
Here she is with a phone, again. :) "Hewo?"
I just about die laughing whenever Elizabeth puts these glasses on. She looks like a drunk pilot or something. :)

Elizabeth is so cute! I can't wait until we get to see her! I love your blog background. It looks great. I feel the same way about the weather. Even though it is supposed to be 80 degrees today, I am wearing a sweater.
That's so funny! Orion is obsessed with rubber ducks as well! He carries one in each hand the entire day and tries to do his "quack, quack" sound. What is it about those ducks?!?! ;-)
Ethan is also a big fan of ducks. He has two stuffed duckies that he has to sleep with. He drags them everywhere and loves to chew on them. It makes me cringe how dirty they get between constant washings.
Lizzy looks like such a big girl now. It is amazing what changes come once they start walking!
She is so cute. I love the age that our kids are at. They are so much fun.
What a cute post! I love all the pictures of Elizabeth, she makes the cutest faces. I especially love the drunk pilot one! Ducky obsession, eh? I wish that was Kennet's. Instead he's obsessed with his giant toy shotgun, "Stella". Oy!
I can't believe how big she's grown. What a doll!
She has really changed in the last little bit. She really just doesn't look like a baby anymore, more like a little girl. It's amazing how fast they change. Those pictures of here are so cute. I swear that girl's hair is so long and thick. How many times have you cut it already?
How cute she is. Jack has a thing for rubber duckies too! Not a bad thing to fancy I think!
She is so cute! I have a big rubber duckie that she would probably love! I love you guys and miss you! I wish you were going to be home for thanksgiving but i am excited to stay at your place!
Duckies and bunny (ears) and telephones... oh, my! She is too much fun. I'm glad she's walking now. And I'm surprised that you didn't walk until sixteen months, as you're so athletic and all. Cool.
