Sorry for the lack of posting recently! I have been in one of those I-really-don't-feel-like-updating-my-blog moods. So much has happened since the last time that I posted, but I just don't feel like doing a SUPER LONG post in an effort to document it all. As such, here are just A FEW pics that give you a little glimpse as to what went on over the past month and a half...
Elizabeth and I flew to Utah with my Sister, Tara, and her son, Mikey. We spent about one week there and we had a blast! Unfortunately, I didn't take that many pictures...I'll do better next time. (Sure, that's what I always say -- I'm horrible at taking pictures!)
There are so many nice playgrounds in Utah, one thing that I really wish that they had in CA! Another plus about Utah is that the fall weather was PERFECT. It wasn't too hot, like it is here. I can't really take Lizzie outside here unless it's early in the morning or in the evening.
She loved the swings!!

My Grandma Turley celebrated her 80th birthday while we were there. It was fun to get to see them and a lot of my other relatives as well.

We also got to spend an afternoon with Jenny and her cute son, Seth! That little boy is such a character!!! Jenny could hardly get him to sit still for a second!

Lizzie hardly ever gets to play on grass, so she liked playing on my parents soft grass.

One of Jon's nicknames for Lizzie is "egg". She kind of looks like an egg in this picture...

On September 1st, Jon and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary. We went to Griffith Park and rented one of these nifty carriage bicycles. It was a lot of fun! Griffith Park is so beautiful...it made me feel like I was in a completely different place than CA. I miss the trees and the mountains so much! After the park, we went out to eat at BJ's (we LOVE that place) and then walked around Glendale Galleria for a few hours. That mall is so huge...if Jon wasn't with me, I would have gotten lost for sure. :)

After two weeks of being kicked out of our downstairs, they finally fixed all of the flood damage. And they even built us a brand new kitchen!! We really like the kitchen, although a little more counter space would have been nice...

Welcome back! Glad you had such a nice trip back to UT. Your newly refinished kitchen is beautiful! And the carriage bike thingy looks like lots of fun!
Hey Andrea!! I'm so glad you're back and that you had such a great time. Lizzie looks so cute on the swings. I can't believe it's already been two years since you guys got married. Happy Anniversary! And I soooo love your new kitchen. It looks way snazzy!!
I can't believe you didn't tell anyone, except for Jenny, that you were coming to Utah. Ok, maybe I'm a space cadet and missed it on your blog. I would have loved to have seen you.
Your kitchen looks great and congrats on the anniversary! It still seems like yesterday when you were in my parents backyard with Johnathon in the summer of 2006 just before you got married!
