Pictures of our House

It's been a while, as usual! We are FINALLY in our house! It took a lot longer than anticipated (delays with the bank being one MAJOR problem), but it was completely worth it in the end. We got our keys on July 3rd and Jon spent the entire next week painting like a madman. I am so proud of him and all of his hard work! He painted practically the whole thing by himself (with a little help from a few friends, fortunately). He did such a great job, but he isn't planning on painting again for the rest of his life. He had ENOUGH! :)

We spent the next week moving in, and what a mess that was! I forgot how much I loath moving! I never want to move ever again! :) No, it really wasn't too bad. We are practically finished unpacking the boxes and getting all organized. We haven't quite finished decorating our walls, particularly because they are so HUGE and our pictures that we have are so SMALL. We are having a difficult time figuring out where to hang things!

Anyway, here are some random pictures of our house, although I still can't figure out how to upload the pictures in the order that I want them to be in.

Our laundry room. We were given a set of cabinets for FREE that we are installing today. They will go to the right of the machines in the little nook in the wall.

Here's Lizzie in our den dancing to Michael Jackson. She LOVES dancing to his music! We have been listening to his greatest hits CD recently and she can't get enough of it. :)

The view from the front entry-way looking into our den. We are eventually going to get a couch in there, when we have money. For now, the two rocking chairs will do. It makes it pretty tough to snuggle with my husband while watching a movie though...

Our dining room/living room area. It is so HUGE! I love all of the extra space!!! We are eventually going to get a chandelier and a large mirror to go on the red wall behind the table...

Our kitchen, which I absolutely love and adore. There is plenty of counter and cupboard space. And the pantry is large enough to hold all of our food and then some...I LOVE MY NEW KITCHEN!!!

Anyway, there are just a few pictures of our house. I love being in our new home! We are so incredibly blessed, it's not even funny.
