Things have been going really well around here this past month. It seems as if Elizabeth's little personality has really exploded and it's been really fun to see her act so crazy. I always knew that she was destined to be as weird as her parents...poor girl. :)
This month, she has become obsessed with many things, one of which is her baby doll. The baby has to go with her everywhere. If I'm reading Lizzie a book, then the doll has to be there too. She has become obsessed with putting the doll into her highchair and feeding it everything (graham crackers, apple slices, fake food, etc.). It's fun to watch her give her baby kisses and pat it on the back.
Lizzie has also become quite the little dancer. She loves dancing with her doll (and any other inanimate object). She especially loves dancing to the Kung-Fu Panda theme song, the Little Einsteins Theme song, and Shikera. It's so hilarious to see some of her crazy moves that she comes up with. I can hardly wait to put her in dance lessons when she's three years old. She definately got her dancing talent from her Daddy...I tend to resemble a frozen burrito when I dance.

Another one of her obsessions is setting up the Little Tyke dollhouse kitchen table and feeding all of the little dolls her play food. Every single morning when she wakes up, she HAS to set up the table. And everything HAS to be perfect or she gets really frustrated. The dog HAS to sit in the rocking chair. It's so hilarious and I just crack up every day when I watch her feed her little family. :)
She is also obsessed with this little glow-worm. She got it when she was 4 months old and never really cared for it until now. I think that she thinks its another baby doll...it's no wonder she loves it.
Just being crazy with pants on her head...
More pictures of her little family...
Daddy really likes combing Elizabeth's hair after she gets out of the bath. It's funny, really. When I comb her hair, I do it in about 5 secons (just enough time to comb through the knots and part it). But Jon combs it over and over again claiming that it relaxes him. Funny guy. :)
Lizzie loves it when Jon gives her baths. He fills up the tub really high and lets her play until her skin gets really wrinkly. I do that occasionally, however, the majority of the time I usually put her in the water and clean her really quickly and only let her play for a short time. I'm probably a bad Mom...I should let her play in the tub for longer. But there is a part of me that thinks it's really disgusting to sit and play in water that was just used for the purpose of cleaning. Gross...dirt, grime, and crusty-food soup. :)
Hmm...What else? My sister, Alyssa came to visit for three weeks. It was really fun and Lizzie just couldn't get enough of her. Unfortunately, I didn't take one single picture of Lizzie and Alyssa. What was I thinking? I am so horrible at taking pictures. :( Alyssa and I had a crazy adventure when I dropped her off at the airport for her flight home. Her ticket had been accidentaly scheduled for March 22nd, rather than February 22nd. We ended up reschuduling her flight, but it would have been a waste of gas for us to go back to my house, and then go right back to the airport (a 50-minute drive). So we hung out at the airport all day. It was Sunday, unfortunately, so we couldn't do anything but sit in the car and read, but it was an adventure nonetheless. I'm just glad that Lizzie wasn't with me...that would have been a nightmare for sure! :)
Also, Jon and I have decided to buy a house. It was a total spur of the moment decision but it just feels right. We are going to move in temporarily with Jon's parents while the house is being built and so that we can save money for a downpayment. We just can't believe how great of a deal this brand new house is. It's 2,010 square feet, it has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a den, a huge kitchen with a walk-in pantry, a huge family room, a dining room, a garage, and a laundry room. And it's only $169,000! We are so excited to be able to move into a house of our own. :) I am really sad to leave our ward though. I teach the Beehives and I love my calling so much! The little Beehives are just the neatest girls on Earth and I have loved having the opportunity to teach them. They are crazy at times, but definatly not as crazy as the 4-year-olds that I had to teach when Jon and I first got married. I would have never guessed that teaching 4-year-olds would be so difficult. I cried almost every Sunday and dreaded going to church! No joke. I just hope that I'll be a better Mom to my four-year-olds than I was a primary teacher! :)

That's so neat about your house, and sounds like an amazing price! Lizzy is so cute with her toys. I can't wait until Brooklyn is old enough to play with toys like that. I get tired of playing with cars and trucks.
Also, if you haven't yet you need to check out Amy's blog.
Yea! a new post! It's good to hear all about how you guys are doing :) Wow, I can't believe how old Lizzie looks.....will she really turn 2 years old this coming August? Good thing another one is on the way huh? I hope your pregnancy is going well and that you aren't too sick! I like Lizzie hair (it's getting longer) :) Looks like she has fun with her toys!
Your new house sounds way exciting! That will be a great experience for you guys. Lizzie is growing up so fast! I love all the pictures.
