Jonathan bought Elizabeth a little kiddie pool yesterday. It's really cute! It's red and it looks like a crab...it even has eye balls! We decided that this summer is going to be a scorcher (it was already 103 degrees on Sunday) and so we had better get something for Lizzie to swim in. We took her out yesterday for her first kiddie-pool swim adventure.
Here she is, sporting her new swimsuit. She didn't quite know what to think of it at first...

She hates things on her head. Too bad, because the hat is so adorable on her!
When we first put her in the pool, she wasn't too happy! I felt kind of bad for her...
but she soon got used to the water and realized that it was just like bath time, only outside. She loves those bath letters!
She also liked this other water toy that we have. We pour water on the top of it and a variety of propellers spin.
She liked splashing with the shovel!
And, of course, she liked playing with her red cup.
She also found the eye balls quite fascinating...
I had a blast! I'm looking forward to days on end of swim time this summer! :)

She is so cute in that swimming suit. What size is it, 3T? That girl is so big, I want to know how much she weighs!!! I love that she always has one of those red cups with her in the pictures!
That is the cutest swim outfit ever! Hopefully soon Mikey will be in the pool with Lizzie. She looks like you in the picture where she's crying...not because you cry a lot...she actually looks like you. Well, hope to see you soon!
Lizzie is so cute in her swimsuit! The heat is a real killer, so I'm sure you will love the pool! Those letters for the tub are great! I just bought Brooke some and she can't get enough of them!
Those big brown eyes were killing me when she didn't know what to think of her pool! How adorable is she!? That swimsuit is so cute on her! 103 already? I don't miss that from our days in Vegas. At least now she has her own little pool to play in whenever she wants. She could start charging a fee for other neighborhood kids to get in! Cute post Andrea!
That looks like so much fun! I love the pic when she's playing with the eyes on the pool -- what a doll!
I don't think we've been over 85 degrees here and that feels too hot for me! Love the swim suit! I don't think we've tried putting Ethan in a pool before, but we need to soon. He doesn't always like his baths so I'm a little worried about how he'll react to an outdoor pool. He does love to be outside though, so maybe he'll love it.
Love the red swimsuit :) I guess the only difference between bath times is the water in the pool outside is cold!!
OH! Now I can really see all those adorable rolls your sweet daughter has!!!
Love the pool pictures! I really laughed at the one where you first put her in the water! how cute!

Andrea, I love her little swim suit. It's pics like these that make me think I might need a girl... As for bathtime ammusement, I just thought I'd share my little find. There are little battery opperated fountains that you can put in the bath tub. They come in whales, and frogs, etc. (they are round, but painted as such.) Jack LOVES his. So, if you want you can check 'em out. The package just says "Party Fountain" and the website is www.takara-usa.com. Enjoy swimming!
She is so cute! I love her chubby cheeks. Cute post!
I love the fact that her swimsuit totally matches her little pool! Talk about a little fashion queen already! :)
